File Description | Active Server Page, also known as ASP or ASP Classic, is a server-side script engine for generating dynamic web pages. The pages may be written in VBScript, C#, or JavaScript. While on the server, ASP is generated and sent to the client's browser. ASP.NET has superseded ASP, which uses the .aspx filename extension. Classic ASP pages typically use the ".asp" extension instead of the typical ".html". |
