| File Description | PDD is image files created with Adobe PhotoDeluxe, a consumer-oriented image editing software line published by Adobe Systems. It was replaced by Adobe Photoshop Elements in July 2002. PhotoDeluxe was a basic image program for editing with features of removing red-eye, cropping, and adjusting brightness, contrast, and sharpness. It also provided lots of printing options including printing multiple copies of an image on the same page. Thus, often bundled with Epson printers. |

When you double click PDD files on computer, the associated program will be launched to open the selected PDD file. But you can change it to any program at your pleasure. a) Select a program to open PDD files on WindowsRight-click on the PDD file and go through 'Open with' > 'Choose default program'. In the pop-up windows, choose a program as the PDD file opener. If you decide to always open PDD files with the program, only check the option 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file'.
b) Select another application to open PDD files on MacFirst Get Info about any one of PDD files by right-clicking or Command-I, and click 'Open with' arrow to choose a program to start your PDD file. Click 'Change All' button to set the selected application as the default PDD file opener app.
