| File Description | Translation source file created by the lupdate utility of Nokia's Qt SDK and stored phrases and their translations into another language specific to a particular application. TS files can be converted to .QPH files using the lconvert utility of Qt SDK. Different from TS files, QPH translation file can be used for multiple applications. When you double click TS files on computer, the associated program will be launched to open the selected TS file. But you can change it to any program at your pleasure. a) Select a program to open TS files on WindowsRight-click on the TS file and go through 'Open with' > 'Choose default program'. In the pop-up windows, choose a program as the TS file opener. If you decide to always open TS files with the program, only check the option 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file'.
b) Select another application to open TS files on MacFirst Get Info about any one of TS files by right-clicking or Command-I, and click 'Open with' arrow to choose a program to start your TS file. Click 'Change All' button to set the selected application as the default TS file opener app.
